These are from a little ESL reader I did for Harcourt. The story is about a pig named Splash, trying to make a treat for his pal's birthday. Done all in photoshop.
I love your blog - sweet & informative! Being a full-time wire sculptor, I've never really considered myself a graphic artist... but I just got discovered by one of the major ad firms. Commissioned to create a series of 2D "wire sketches"... and to submit tight comps uhh... tomorrow. Just for the heck of it... do you suppose you might toss me a clue as to the nature of tight comps? I'd ask my handler the Art Director, but don't want to lose street cred.
Hi Maryn, I know you aren't blogging here any longer but I hope you are getting your comments still. I came across this in my home town last week, and just a few days prior had seen your blog...http://www.monkeyplayhouse.net/ To my untrained eye it looks like your design, flipped. Hopefully they had your permission, but just in case I thought you might be interested.

Thanks so much -
