Elf

While working on some sketches for background paintings, I sort of drew a bunch of little elves (was listening to Christmas music) all over the edges of the paper. I liked this one, so decided to color it.

Below you can see the original sketch. I scanned that, and filled in solid areas of color below the lines. I did a little shading, then colored the lines a bit, and then flattened it all together. Then I did all the clean-up and details on the flattened layer. When I was done, I added a couple layers of textures over the top. Fun!

I'm looking for a logo for a new specialist clothing company, would you consider licensing your elf to me? I've done the same with a graphic designer from France who licensed me his Cameleon for my time as a freelance PR

Hi I love your elf
I am teaching Rufty and Tufty to my 3 year old daughter, and I cant find any clipart to illustrate the poem. Do you have any elves that are doing any of the actions in the poem? Here it is:
RUFTY AND TUFTY
Rufty and Tufty were two little elves
Who lived in a hollow oak tree
They did all the cooking and cleaning themselves
And often asked friends in to tea.
Rufty wore blue, and Tufty wore red,
And each had a hat with a feather,
Their best Sunday shoes they kept under the bed -
They were made of magic green leather.
Rufty was clever and kept the accounts,
But Tufty preferred to do cooking.
He could make a fine cake without weighing amounts -
And eat it when no one was looking!

THANKS IN ADVANCE
no prob if you dont
